This webinar brings together three Booth alumni with deep expertise in this space to explore this remarkable trend. They will share insights on how Asian family offices are expanding their global footprint, structuring their investments, and managing their wealth across generations.

Ms. Angel Chia (AXP 20) (Panelist)
Executive Director, Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy

Angel Chia is the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy. The Academy promotes collaboration, networking, knowledge sharing and training & development among family office principals and next-generation wealth owners, aiming to solidify Hong Kong's status as a leading family office hub. Prior to joining the Academy, Angel was the Chair of the Family Office Association Hong Kong.

Angel has accumulated 20+ years of experience in the financial industry, ranging from equity sales & trading to asset & wealth management. She set up the Singapore subsidiary for Shenwan Hongyuan and later managed its offshore asset management business. She then set up SingAlliance (Hong Kong) as CEO and served as Chief Strategy Officer at Fountainhead Partners. Angel also founded NexGenerator, a family office accelerator for next-gen wealth owners.

Angel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Senior Investment Director, a leading Single Family Office in HK

Yuan Ji is the Senior Investment Director at a leading single family office, overseeing global investments across public and private markets and developing AI-driven infrastructure to support its growth. The family office manages the wealth of a renowned Chinese internet entrepreneur.

Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager at Haitong Securities and PIMCO Europe, specializing in credit funds and fixed-income strategies. He began his career as a proprietary credit trader at UniCredit's London desk during the European debt crisis and later worked as a quantitative risk analyst focusing on exotic derivatives at Deutsche Bank.

Yuan holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MA in Economics from the University of Freiburg, and a BEng in Electronic Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

Christina Lee is a Private Banker at JPMorgan's Global Families Group, based in San Francisco. She advises ultra-high-net-worth clients in Asia on investment portfolio construction, capital and liquidity strategies, and wealth transfer planning.

Before joining JPMorgan, she spent nine years in private wealth management at Morgan Stanley San Francisco and Credit Suisse Hong Kong, focusing on UHNW clients in Greater China. Earlier in her career, she was an equity research analyst covering Taiwan's technology sector.

Christina holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from National Taiwan University.
