About the Conference

On November 8鈥9, 2017, the George J. Stigler Center for the Study of the Economy and the State will hold our 40th anniversary event: Stigler in the 21st Century. The event will bring together academics and intellectuals to discuss George Stigler鈥檚 legacy as well as current research on the role of private markets in promoting human welfare and the role that legal infrastructure has on market performance.
