It's especially exciting to welcome our alumni who are here to celebrate their reunions as part of our 7th annual Reconnect. And through Reconnect we've combined class reunions and Management Conference for a full weekend of activities.

Reconnect is about going back to your educational roots, and so meeting all the people you spend a lot of time with that you don't have a lot of time to see in daily life.
Speaker 3
So I came to Reconnect. It's one year since we graduated, and I really wanted to reconnect with a bunch of my classmates.

It sort of revitalizes you for what you had, but as 30 years back, and it gives you the energy to sort of last til the 35th reunion.
Speaker 5
So I try to make a habit of coming to the reunions every five years, so I haven't missed one yet.
Speaker 6
Sometimes I feel like through social media, there's sort of a danger to feeling connected when in fact you haven't spoken in 10 years, and so being able to have a face-to-face conversation with someone and actually catch up in a more meaningful way, that's been super valuable.

I think you should come to Reconnect to continue to grow intellectually. You always need to be intellectually stimulated. No matter how long ago you graduated or how old you are, you can always learn new things.

Just a chance to learn from world-class faculty and hear research about things that are really developing now, is a great reason to come back.

To be in the classroom settings, it'll bring you right back to however many years ago you were here.

I wish I'd done it sooner. I wish I come for the fifth year.

I think people should come to Reconnect because it's a fantastic event. It's a chance to go back to classroom and meet each other's families.

I like seeing other classes too. I think it's cool how they group the different cohorts with the different years, and like I said, just can't pass up Chicago in the Spring.

It's critically important that she has an opportunity to see something that she might experience in the future, whether she decides to be an astrophysicist or be a financier. I want her to be in a space to see some of these future colleagues of hers.
