The 2025 EDE+ Summer Institute is scheduled to run from June 2-July 30, 2025, through a combination of full-and part-time programming, as well as a blend of in-person and online engagement. Throughout the 9-week program, participants will be exposed to some of the most innovative faculty and practitioners in the field, engaging in skill-building coursework, daily lectures, and other activities to inspire learning and promote networking.

The experience will culminate in presenting a group research project, leveraging coding skills, economic theory and analysis, and research methods covered during the Summer Institute. All participants will be invited to present their research findings at a student research conference in Washington, DC, hosted by , immediately following the conclusion of the program. The program will cover the cost of travel to Washington DC, Chicago, and back to the student’s hometown (exclusive of local travel fees), as well as housing and group activities during residential programming. Participants will receive a $2,000 stipend for successful completion of the program.
