Healthcare Analytics Laboratory

Analytics at Booth Healthcare Analytics Laboratory

We bring the real-world business problems of the modern healthcare industry into the classroom.

Under the guidance and supervision of professor Dan Adelman, a team of doctoral mentors, and teams of Booth MBA candidates learn to apply sophisticated quantitative analytical methods to improve healthcare delivery. The class culminates in presentations to executives at the sponsoring firms.

What's Next for HAL?

What's Next for HAL?

HAL is scaling up the lab, and there are two important pieces to that.

  • Commercialization

The first is developing a pipeline of tools developed as class/research projects that can be spun off into real-life use.

  • Validation Projects

We're going to tweak the course model in order to develop a project from scratch in one round of the lab, and then in the next round or two validate the same approach in other organizations.

A Call for Organizations

With that in mind, we're calling for organizations to contact us if they are interested in implementing/validating innovative lab-developed analytic tools in their local organizationpartner with us
