Distinguished fellows take part in a Leadership Practicum during their Full-Time MBA experience. The practicum has two main goals: building community and exploring leadership.
Fellows join a small peer cohort of first- and second-year MBA students, forming close bonds through both informal connections and regular practicum meetings. These relationships often become some of the most meaningful during their time at Booth, supporting personal and professional growth and deeper exploration of practicum topics.
The practicum also examines the many forms of leadership, encouraging fellows to reflect on how they engage others to create change. Drawing on both traditional and unconventional examples, practicum sessions鈥攈eld about every two weeks鈥攆eature group discussions, alumni visits, plays, reflective activities, and guest speakers.
Fellows also connect with a supportive alumni community through annual reunions and spring events, accessing a valuable network. Ultimately, the fellowship offers more than a scholarship: it is a practicum and community focused on learning, leadership, and connection.
