Impact Awards Message from the Dean
To: All faculty and staff
Subject: 2025 Booth Impact Awards
Dear Chicago Booth faculty and staff,
This has been an exciting year for Chicago Booth! We surpassed the fundraising record set in 2008, the year of the David Booth naming gift. We received a $100 million naming gift to benefit the Executive MBA Program, from alumnus Konstantin Sokolov. We expanded our faculty areas for the first time in years, launching the Applied AI group. We inaugurated the Tolan Center for Healthcare, building on the success of the Healthcare Initiative. We completed a fantastic inaugural year of our new degree programs, the Master in Management and the Asness and Liew Master in Finance, which enhance our already stellar MBA and PhD programs and Executive Education offerings.
I am grateful to each of you for playing a role in the successes of this year and preparing us for sustained eminence in the future. You play an invaluable role in building a work environment of trust and empowerment so that we may continue to produce world-class research and educate the next generation of leaders.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Booth Impact Awards. We will again recognize outstanding staff whose contributions this year exemplify the Booth core values of respect, excellence, integrity, and impact. We have added two new categories: Workstyle Honors and Superlative Awards, which are highlighted on the Chicago Booth Impact Awards website.
Now through November 13, staff may submit nominations via the website on behalf of a colleague or team. The 2025 Booth Impact Awards will be presented at the staff holiday party on December 17. I encourage you to submit a nomination and highlight the great work we do at Booth.
Thank you for all that you do to support the school!
Best wishes,
Madhav
